Ecosapiens

Ecosapiens enable anyone to fight climate change. Introducing the world’s first carbon-backed NFT. Each piece is underwritten with 20 metric tonnes of atmospheric carbon (from only the highest quality sources.) Meaning if you buy one you offset your carbon output for the entire year and more.

Each Ecosapien is a fusion of various carbon-based life. Their component body parts vacillate as if breathing (a nod to the importance of the atmosphere) while their vegetation soothingly sways on loop. Follow along with their evolution from basic lifeforms to elaborate and intricate creatures as your collection progresses.

We at Aixsponza had the honour and pleasure to support Ecoverse in the creation of their Ecosapiens universe. This is an ongoing project where we create characters and environments in various levels of details to foster and grow the collectibles of the Ecoverse.

Chapter 1 / Ecosapiens, the NFTs

This is the core of the whole project. A glimpse at the actual NFT collectibles: a few of the Ecosapiens in their various evolution levels that we created. 

There are many species of Ecosapien in our climate metaverse: the Leosapien, Elesapien, Jellasapien, and even a Volcasapien (stops supervolcano eruptions), to name a few. Some grow trees that absorb 100x carbon, some release a flame suppressing pollen to stop forest fires at their start, and others restore coral reefs with a specialized bio-ink. Their potential "superpowers'' are as endlessly inventive as nature itself.

Chapter 2 / Ecogenesis

Watch the birth of the very first Ecosapien, the genesis of the breed.

Born through the fusion of Type 1 technologies: synthetic biology, quantum AI, and nanotech, Ecosapiens emerge alabaster white, composed of artificial stem cells. Beginning as blank slates, each Ecosapien dispatches into distressed environments where they evolve new biology to repair it, mimicking it, giving them their signature hybrid appearances.

Chapter 3 / NYC NFT

Launching Ecosapiens into the human world they joined the NYC NFT convention and celebrated their birth in one big party.

Chapter 4 / Ecosystems

This is the chapter where we focus on the surroundings and environments the Ecosapiens live in mostly. They populate all the various biomes our wonderfull home planet offers.

The work combines actual science with a fictional narrative. So while the owner/reader of an Ecosapien might engage in our storytelling, as a byproduct, they are learning technical science about how the world is changing and how we can save it.
